2009: Will participate in his first season of baseball at ASU after playing football for the Red Wolves the past two seasons. Transferred to ASU from Butte College.
2008: Joined Coach Steve Roberts’ program at the spring mid-term and went through spring workouts with ASU . . . Played in 10 games in 2008 . . . Caught seven passes totaling 74 yards for the season, including a long reception of 21 yards against Troy . . . Also returned one kickoff for 26 yards against Texas Southern.
BUTTE COLLEGE: Named a 2007 first team all-conference selection after catching 44 passes for 831 yards and nine touchdowns with the Butte College Roadrunners . . . Returned 23 kicks for 662 yards, including a season-high 88 yard return, as a sophomore . . . Helped lead the Roadrunners to a 7-4 record, including a 61-33 win over Delta College in the Stockman’s Bank Bowl, in 2007 . . . Named the bowl game’s MVP . . . Received an Academic Achievement Award and was a multi-sport athlete at Butte, earning first team all-conference baseball recognition in the spring of 2007.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played both wide receiver and defensive back at Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, Calif. . . . Named first team all-league on both offense and defense as a senior after recording 44 receptions for 921 yards and 14 touchdowns and posting eight interceptions from his safety position . . . Four-year baseball and basketball letterwinner from 2002-06 . . . First team all-league selection in 2005 and 2006 as an infielder and was named the school’s Outstanding Senior Male Athlete.
