NE MISSISSIPPI COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two years at Northeast Mississippi Community college batting .340 as a freshman with three home runs while also logging a 5-4 record on the mound with a 4.7 ERA...batted .345 as a sophomore with two homers four doubles and two triples while going 3-5 on the mound in 47 2/3 innings pitched for a 2.34 ERA with a save and 48 strikeouts.

High School: Was Named Offensive and Pitcher of the Year as a senior at Cookeville High School in Cookeville, Tenn. after batting .435 with four home runs with a 4-0 record on the mound and a 2.7 ERA...also earned all-district honors and led his team to the 7-AAA District Championship...batted .380 with three homers and went 3-0 on the mound with a 3.1 ERA.

Personal: Plans to major in Physical Education at ASU...likes drag racing top alcohol dragsters...parents are Doug and Brenda Farley.
