2009:  Became a weekend starter early in his freshman season, starting in nine games while appearing in 13 games on the year...started seven games against Sun Belt Competition as a true freshman, picking up two wins along the way...gave up just 42 hits in 47.1 innings of work while striking out 42 opposing batters...surrendered just 28 earned runs...held opposing batters to a .235 average, the lowest among ASU starters...posted an ERA of 5.32...struck out a season-high 6 batters in just 3.2 innings of work against Harris-Stowe and logged five strikeouts in four innings against nationally ranked Ole Miss... also struck out five batters against conference foes New Orleans, Western Kentucky and Florida Atlantic...walked just 35 batters on the year...
