Biography

Coach Pittman Says:  “Krek is a very technical, attacking-minded player, who can play central or on the left side. She is a good dribbler, solid passer and loves to strike the ball on goal with power and accuracy. We look for Katharine to help us out a lot during her senior year and will be a difference maker on set pieces around the goal.”

 

2007:  Played in all 18 games and started in 9... had two goals against Central Arkansas and University Arkansas Little Rock... also had one assist against Central Arkansas... had 10 shots on goal for a .625 percentage.

2006: Saw action in all 19 games including 18 starts ... has two assists and two points vs. Louisiana-Lafayette and Tennessee-Chattanooga ... recorded 17 shots.

2005: Saw action in 18 games as a true freshman including five starts while playing primarily as an outside midfielder ... recorded two assists on the season with both helpers coming against Centenary ... her two assists helped ASU to its first ever victory over Centenary in program history.

High School: Three-year starter at Cor Jesu Academy ... member of the ‘96 Missouri ODP team for five years and helped team represent Region II in the Las Vegas, Nev.. ... also played for the St. Louis Soccer Club Busch S.C. where she was the team captain and led them in goals and assists ... member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Majoring in Broadcast Journalism ... born Oct. 4, 1986 ... parents are Greg and Karen Krekeler.
