Biography

Coach Pittman Says:  “Markie has shown great determination and strength having battled back from several knee injuries.  She is very good in the air and crafty on the ball, especially around the goal.  We look for her to be a target forward within our formation and know that she will work really hard to have a great senior season this fall.”

 

2007:  Played in all 18 games and started in 5... had two goals against Texas State and the only game winning goal of the season against Prairie View A&M... Registered 3 shots on goal for a .375 percentage.

2006: Saw action in all 19 games, starting 12 ... led team in goals scored with seven and scored 14 points ... scored twice against Murray State and one goal each vs. Tennessee-Martin and Sun Belt foes Troy, South Alabama, Louisiana-Monroe, and Louisiana-Lafayette ... had 28 shots with .250 percentage.

2005: Saw action in three games as a true freshman ... limited for most of the season due to a knee injury that required early season surgery ... played in her first career game versus North Texas.

High School: Four-year varsity starter at Eaton Rapids High School ... team captain ... named second-team All-State as a junior ... also named first-team All-Region and All-District as a junior ... set school records for most goals scored in a season with 21 and assists with 14 ... led Eaton Rapids to the district championship ... named to the Lansing State Journal Dream Team and also awarded the Lansing State Journal Player of the week ... recipient of the MEAP Merit Scholarship.

Personal: Advertising major and a Marketing minor... born May 22, 1987 ... parents are Matt and Shari McRae.
