Biography

2008:  Led the team with 1,224 assists, averaging 10.9 assists per set to rank third in the Sun Belt Conference and 28th nationally . . . her season assist total was the seventh best in ASU history . . . had a career high 60 assists against Florida Atlantic October 24 . . . added 78 kills, 32 blocks and 20 service aces on the year . . . named to the Sun Belt Conference Honor Roll following the 2007-2008 academic year.


2007: Played in 103 games for ASU as a redshirt freshman...was second on team with 183 assists...had 26 service aces...recorded 218 digs.


2006: Redshirt season.


High School: Three-year varsity letterwinner at St. Thomas Aquinas High School … two-year team captain … finished first in school history in career assists per game at 10.58 ... also set the single season record for assists per game at 11.518 in 2005 ... guided her team to a 38-2 record in 2005 and to the East Kansas League championship … garnered East Kansas League Player of the Year honors in 2005 as well as First Team All-EKL accolades … she averaged 11.52 assists per game and tallied 125 digs in 2005 … as a sophomore, she led her team to a third place finished in the Kansas 6A State championship while earning All-Tournament honors … earned All-RKL and All-Sun Volleyball honors as a sophomore … played for the Mid-American Volleyball Junior Olympic team.


Personal: Daughter of Jim and Linda Bennett … born on April 20, 1988 … majoring in communication disorders/speech therapy.
