2009:  Made 18 appearances on the mound for the Red Wolves, drawing the start in six games...Was named Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week for his performance on the mound in ASU's 11-4 win over FAU May 9 in which he started and worked a season-high eight innings to earn the victory over the Owls, striking out seven batters, five looking, along the way.  Ferguson did not issue a walk in the game, while giving up just two runs on six hits...surrendered just 26 earned runs in 50.1 innings of work while striking out 49 opposing batters...gave up 61 hits...struck out a season-high nine batters in six innings of work in 6-2 victory over UALR...struck out eight in five innings on the mound against Western Kentucky ... posted an ERA of 4.65, the best among returning pitchers for ASU...held opposing batters to a .299 average...

2008: Made 10 appearances on the mound as a true freshman in 2008, drawing three starts...finished the season 2-0, earning victories against Williams Baptist and Harris-Stowe State...gave up just 16 hits while striking out 18 in 22 innings of work...struck out five batters against Williams Baptist in five innings of work while giving up just one hit...gave up seven earned runs on the year....surrendered just six multi-base hits, including no triples or home runs.

High School:  Four-year starter at Benton High as a pitcher, second baseman and shortstop ... Finished with a 7-1 record and a .8 ERA as a senior ... Named to the All-State and All-Conference teams in 2006 and 2007...

Personal:  Son of Kent and Mitzi Ferguson ...Graduated with honors from Benton High.
