ITAWAMBA CC: Played freshman year at Ittawamba Community College...went 2-3 from the plate.

High School: Four year starter and all-state performer at South Ponotoc High School...batted .390 with 19 home runs including 13 as a senior...led So. Ponotoc to the 2009 North State Championship and was team captain, MVP, best offensive player and earned all-state and all-division honors...named Northeast Mississppi Daily Journal Player of the Year and to the 2009 Clario Ledger All-State team.

Personal: Majoring in Secondary Education...played travel ball for the Ponotoc Red Sox American Legion team leading them to state championships in 2010 and 2007...son of Mike and Terrie Bowen.
