Biography

2022 (SENIOR)
A-State’s staff ace in 2022, becoming the Game 1 starter at the start of Sun Belt Conference play … Owned a 5.37 ERA while striking out 65 batters in 70 1/3 innings, starting in 14 of his 15 mound appearances … Also started four games as a designated hitter, hitting .312 (5-for-16) with a home run and a double … Went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs at ULM (5/20) … Struck out seven batters in 5 2/3 innings versus Georgia State (5/13) … Earned the win in a quality start versus Troy (4/22), allowing three runs (one earned) in seven innings … Fanned four in 5 1/3 frames at Little Rock (4/14) … Went 2-for-4 with a double in his first plate appearances of the year versus Coastal Carolina (4/2) … Struck out a season-high eight in six innings at Georgia Southern (3/25) … Punched out seven and walked just one in six innings against Texas State (3/18) … Struck out five in just two innings pitched against Southern Illinois (3/9).

2021 (JUNIOR AT MIDDLE TENNESSEE)
One of two players on the Blue Raiders’ pitching staff to hit both a home run and pitch seven or more innings in 2021 … Appeared as a pitcher, designated hitter and pinch hitter … Pitched 7 2/3 innings on the bump in six appearances … Struck out three in 2 2/3 innings versus Louisiana Tech (April 30) ... Part of back-to-back pinch-hit homers at Southern Miss (May 9).

2020
Pitched 12 1/3 innings for Middle Tennessee with four starts … Pitched 5 2/3 innings with five strikeouts, picking up the win versus Missouri State (Feb. 23).

JUNIOR COLLEGE
Spent two seasons at Itawamba Community College and was a key two-way player for the Indians … Helped ICC reach the No. 2 national ranking in his sophomore year, when he was named an MACJC First Team All-State performer … Earned the JBB Two-Way Player of the Year award … Hit .306 with 45 RBI and a team-high 10 homers while recording a 7-1 record on the mound with a 2.48 ERA.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Ripley High School, where he was a four-year letter winner for the Tigers … Named the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal’s 4A Player of the Year as a senior … First Team All-State honoree as a senior … Hit .387 with 10 home runs in his career … On the mound, owned a 1.48 ERA with 103 strikeouts … 2017 and 2015 Region MVP.
