Junior College: Earned first-team All-Pacific Coast Conference honors after finishing the 2009 season at 10-1 with a league-best 1.94 ERA at Palomar Community College...his 10 wins are fourth-best in Palomar history...gave up just 15 earned runs in 69.2 innings of work, striking out 38 batters along the way while surrendering 57 hits and 15 walks...coached by Buck Taylor...named to the Dean's List...selected to the Great Britain Baseball 40-man preliminary roster for competition in the World Cup held in Europe...

Personal: Played club baseball and Australian football while attending Lesmurdie High School...son of Penelope and Steve Jew.
