2021-present: (Arkansas State)
Lett joined the staff at Arkansas State upon head coach Butch Jones’ arrival in Jonesboro ahead of the 2021 season. Helping recruit four-straight signing classes among the top three in the league, Lett’s labor has produced back-to-back bowl appearances and a win in the 2024 68 Ventures Bowl against Bowling Green.
Last season, Lett’s receiving core had nine different players record a reception for 2,301 yards and 16 scores. For the fourth consecutive season, an A-State wide receiver earn all-conference recognition with Corey Rucker earning a second team nod. Rucker hauled in 69 receptions, eighth-most in a single season by any A-State player, for 1,053 yards, fourth most in a season and the seventh time in program history a player topped 1,000 yards.
In 2023, the Red Wolves returned to a bowl game for the first time since 2019 and Jeff Foreman closed out his career as the seventh player in program history to top 2,000 career receiving yards. Courtney Jackson led the team with 39 receptions and added seven scores and 689 yards.
Lett guided Champ Flemings to all-conference recognition in 2022 while two receivers, Rucker and Te’Vailance Hunt, were recognized in 2021. Rucker was a FWAA Freshman All-America pick posting a team-leading 826 receiving yards on 59 catches. He had nine touchdowns, second-most in the league.
2013-20: (Yale)
Lett spent six years at Yale coaching the running backs while also serving as the Bulldogs assistant head coach from 2019-20. As the recruiting coordinator, Lett helped lead the program to Ivy League championships in both 2017 and 2019 with identical 9-1 records each of those seasons.
In his tenure at Yale, he regularly helped sign FCS recruiting classes that were ranked among the top five nationally. He coached three running backs who earned All-Ivy League honors at least once, including Alan Lamar, Deshawn Salter and Zane Dudek. Dudek was tabbed an FCS All-America selection, while Lamar was named to the Freshman All-America Team in 2016.
2013-14: (Tennessee)
Worked two seasons as an offensive quality control assistant under head coach Butch Jones at Tennessee. Lett worked with the running backs, wide receivers and punt return group while assisting the recruiting coordinator. He helped lead the 2014 Volunteers to their first bowl-game victory since 2010.
