Caught at least one pass in 10 games, including a season-high four against Georgia Southern . . . Also finished the same contest with a season-high 74 yards . . . Posted multiple receptions in five games . . . Tallied at least 30 receiving yards in five outings . . . Season-long reception of 35 yards came versus Georgia State . . . All three receiving touchdowns came in different games (SEMO, UNLV, Georgia State) . . . Ranked fourth on the team in receiving yards and fifth in receptions . . . 2017: Played in 11 games, all in a reserve role, as a true freshman . . . Recorded eight receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown, while also returning 11 kickoffs for 226 yards . . . Caught at least one pass in five games, including a career-best two against UAPB, New Mexico State and South Alabama . . . Lone touchdown came against UAPB on a career-long 23-yard reception. He also posted a career-high 33 receiving yards in the outing . . . Recorded five kickoff returns for 138 yards with a long of 55 – all career highs – against South Alabama.
HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time all-state selection . . . Named the “Best Under The Sun Football Player of the Year” by the Jonesboro Sun newspaper . . . PERSONAL: Son of Jonathan Adams Jr. and Zandra Clayton . . . Father, Jonathan Adams, was a standout running back at A-State from 1998-2001, earning All-Sun Belt honors in 2001 and still ranking as the Red Wolves’ fourth all-time leading rusher with 3,005 career yards to his credit . . .
