Earned bronze with a 5.63m (18-5 ½) mark at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (June 11), earning First Team All-American honors … Advanced to his second NCAA Outdoor Championships by placing fifth in the pole vault at the West Prelims (May 28) … Sun Belt Champion in the pole vault, clearing 5.48m (17-11.75) (May 9) … Won an event title at the Alumni Classic (April 25), clearing 5.46m (17-11) … Placed fourth at the Mt. SAC Relays (April 18) with a clearance of 5.30m (17-4.5) … Won the Elite section of the pole vault at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays (March 29), clearing 5.55m (18-2.5) and later being named the Sun Belt Men’s Field Athlete of the Week.

First Team All-American … NCAA runner-up in the pole vault, clearing 5.65m (18-6.5) (March 8), becoming A-State’s first men’s pole vaulter to medal indoors since 1987 … Sun Belt Conference champion with a meet-record clearance of 5.62m (18-5.25) … Named the conference’s Field Performer of the Year … Won every meet leading up to the NCAA championships, going 6-1 on the year, with all final heights eclipsing 18 feet … Shattered the school and conference indoor records to open the season, vaulting 5.72m (18-9.25) at the Crimson and Gold Invitational (Dec. 9).
