Graduate assistant coach Juliana Zavalla begins her first season with the Red Wolves this fall.
Juliana set several records as a player at North Western and still has not lost a step in terms of fitness and drive. She has a great understanding of the game and brings a lot of passion and energy to our team,” said Ziyenge.
Played college soccer at Northwestern State University where she was named to the SLC All-Tournament Team and was the top scorer in the state of Louisiana earning the First Team All-Louisiana honors and First Team All-Academic Honors.
After her playing career she worked as a personal trainer, physical therapy tech and a club coach at the Chicago Sports Zone and Chicago Storm Academy. She graduated with a BS in health and exercise science from Northwestern State in 2007.
She holds a USSF “D” license.
