Biography
JUNIOR (2020-21): Finished with a 4-5 overall tournament singles record including a 2-0 mark at No. 2 singles … was 5-4 at No. 1 doubles for the year … picked up tournament victory number one of the season against Central Arkansas … rallied from an early 3-6 set one defeat to finished 6-0, 6-0 against the Bears … also earned her first doubles victory against Central Arkansas with partner Nejla Zukic at No. 1 doubles … was a perfect 2-0 at No. 1 doubles with Zukic, picking up wins against Central Arkansas and Southeast Missouri … won three-straight matches at No. 1 doubles with Hunter Roper against UT Arlington, Missouri State and Texas State … was leading 5-2 against Troy in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament at No. 1 doubles with Roper before the match was called.
SOPHOMORE (2019-20): As a sophomore, Rice racked up five wins in doubles play while appearing in singles action against Virginia Tech in the shortened season.
FRESHMAN (2018-19): In her freshman season, Rice went 5-3 in singles play, primarily playing the No. 5 and No. 6 positions … in doubles, Rice was 10-7 as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-time All-State selection from Lakeside High School, Rice led her squad in overall wins her senior season … played basketball and was a three-year starter and won all-conference honors three years in a row.
PERSONAL: Her mother, Tracy Webb Rice, is a member of the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame after leading Arkansas to four consecutive 20-win seasons as point guard from 1983-87 ... her sister, Tatum, plays tennis for Arkansas while their grandfather, Brooks, is in the Arkansas Track and Field Hall of Fame.
