Collin Shields joined the Arkansas State volleyball program as an assistant coach ahead of the 2026 season following three seasons at Louisville.
The Channahon, Illinois, native served as a graduate manager for the Cardinals from 2023-25, assisting with scouting operations, on-court training and statistical analysis. During his tenure, Louisville advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2023, reached the NCAA National Championship Match in 2024 and returned to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in 2025. The Cardinals also led the nation in blocks per set with a 3.09 average during the 2024 campaign.
At Arkansas State, Shields assists with recruiting, scouting, match preparation and player development.
