Doug Kuberski was the interim head coach for Arkansas State during the first half of the 2017-18 season and is now an assistant coach for the team. He helped the Red Wolves to a first-place finish at the Warhawk Classic.

A native of Monroeville, Pa., Kuberski was one of head coach Justin Kostick’s teammates on the Nebraska men’s bowling club squad from 1999-2003 and earned Academic All-American status during his playing career. Both were coached by two-time PBA Champion Bill Straub as members of the Cornhuskers. He was also coached by former Team USA coach Jeri Edwards.

He was the interim head coach of the Texas A&M men’s bowling team in 2008 and led the squad to the Big 12 conference title. Additionally, Kuberski coached current Professional Bowling Association (PBA) member Chris Loschetter. He has also bowled six 300 games in his career and has a high series of 810.

Kuberski currently works for Fantistics Technologies, Inc., as a data analyst, writer, and co-host of Insider Baseball Show, which airs on SiriusXM. Additionally, he writes for MLB.com evaluating news from an analytics perspective and posts relevant news to their fantasy baseball page. He also spent six years as a professor of political science at Florida State College at Jacksonville and won the Outstanding Faculty Award in the spring 2015 semester.

Kuberski earned his bachelor’s degree in history, political science, and philosophy from Nebraska in 2003 before he received his master’s degree from Akron in political science with an emphasis in international relations and comparative politics in 2005. He holds a doctoral degree from Texas A&M in political science with a concentration in international relations and comparative politics.
