Nick Charest

    Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant
Nick Charest is a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Arkansas State University, where he oversees athletic development for the Women’s Soccer and Women’s Tennis programs.

He previously served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Arkansas, where he led the Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs and assisted with the Women’s Soccer Strength and Conditioning program during their SEC regular season championship run, as well as multiple other Olympic sports. While there, he also served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Har-Ber High School, overseeing the Men’s Lacrosse and Baseball teams, which both advanced to the state finals, with the baseball team securing the state championship.

In addition to his collegiate and high school coaching experience, Nick currently serves as a Staff Sergeant and 13M Launcher Crew Chief in the Arkansas Army National Guard. Where he also functions as a Unit Master Fitness Trainer and Holistic Health and Fitness Integrator. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Human Nutrition from the University of Arkansas. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Arkansas State University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
