Travion Scott begins his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Red Wolves football program, coaching on the defensive side of the ball.

Scott came to A-State after spending the 2008 and 2009 seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Arkansas Tech, where he was a four-year letterman as a defensive tackle from 2003-07.  The Crossett, Ark. native spent the 2008 season working on the offensive side of the ball before moving to defense in January of 2009.

Following his playing career at Arkanas Tech, Scott worked briefly with football program as a student assistant before accepting the graduate assistant position.  Additionally, he worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Arkansas Tech from 2008-09.

Scott also served as the Youth Camp Coordinator  and worked the ATU Linemen and ATU Team Camps.

Scott earned his bachelor's degree in 2008 and his master's in 2010, both from Arkansas Tech University.
