Arkansas State returns home for the first time in nearly a month, hosting 13th-ranked Texas State in the final regular-season series of the season.

Tatum Ticknor was named the Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week after notching 43 digs against the Trojans - her first weekly honor since Aug. 27, 2018. Tuesday was also the first time since that date in which A-State had earned two conference weekly awards in the same week. Ticknor ranks seventh among all active Division I players in total digs (1,371) and third in digs per set (4.62) entering this week.
This season through 13 matches, A-State leads the nation in total blocks (151) and ranks third in blocks per set (3.08), which leads the conference. The Red Wolves have recorded 10.0 blocks in 12 of its 13 matches, including a season-high 15.0 on 10/16 at UT Arlington. In 2019, A-State reached 10 or more blocks eight times in 29 matches.
Lauren Musante owns nine of A-State's 14 double-doubles.
A win over Texas State this weekend would mark the program's first-ever victory against a ranked opponent.
