MOBILE, Ala. (9/6/20) – The Arkansas State University women's golf team slipped one spot to sixth among seven teams completing the second round of the 54-hole USA Intercollegiate Sunday afternoon.
The Red Wolves second round 303(+15) has the squad in sixth place with a two-day total of 605 (+29), two strokes behind fifth place Little Rock (603) and 13 strokes behind fourth place ULM (592). Western Kentucky, the day one leader, continues to lead after a second round 288 (E) and two-day total of 574 (-2). Host South Alabama is second (579) and UAB is third (586).Â
Olivia Schmidt, Grayson Gladden and Elise Schultz each carded second round scores of 75 (+3) Sunday. Schmidt has a two-round total of 148 (+4) to stand tied for 13th. Gladden is tied for 20th with a total of 150 (+6) while Schultz is tied for 22nd at 152 (+8). Kayla Burke is 29th at 155 (+11) and Kiley Rodrigues is tied for 30th at 156 (+12) to round out the five team scorers. Competing as an individual, Sydni Leung posted a second round 75 (+3) and is tied for 16th with a total of 149 (+5).
