JONESBORO, Ark.  (2/5/21) – After collecting two all-tournament honors, Sophomore Faith Welch has been named the January Southland Bowler of the Month, announced by the league Friday.
 
Welch helped lead the Red Wolves to a first-place finish at the Lady Techsters Invitational, Jan. 17, where she registered a 1,042 total pinfall for a 208.40 average.
 
The Savannah, Tenn., native earned a top-five finish at the Prairie View Invitational on Jan. 31., after registering a 1,061 total pinfall for a 212.20 average.
 
A-State will return to action Friday, Feb. 12-15, at the Bulldog Classic in Ruston, La.
