KIRKWOOD, Mo. (3/29/21) – Four players are in the top 10 and the Arkansas State women's golf team carries a nine-stroke advantage after two rounds of the Diane Daugherty Invite at Greenbriar Hills Country Club.
Playing 36 holes on the day, A-State posted a first-round total of 301 (+17) and followed with a second round 304 (+20) to total 605 (+37) on the day. The first and second round totals for A-State were the two lowest rounds among any team. The Red Wolves are nine strokes clear of Illinois State (+46) and 12 strokes better than third place Bradley in the 16-team field.
Elise Schultz is three strokes off the individual lead and stands fourth overall with a total of 148 (+6). She carded back-to-back rounds of 74 (+3) and led the field with 26 pars on the day.
Sydni Leung, playing as an individual, and
Olivia Schmidt are tied for sixth with a two-round total of 150 (+8).
Grayson Gladden is tied for ninth at 151 (+9) to give the Red Wolves four players inside the top 10 while
Kayla Burke is tied for 21st at 156 (+14) making five players in the top-25.
Kiley Rodrigues is inside the top 40 as she totaled 161 (+19) to tie for 39th.
