JONESBORO, Ark. (11/26/23) – The Arkansas State volleyball team learned Sunday that its 2023 season will continue, as it accepted an invitation to the 2023 National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC).

A-State (16-14) is one of 32 teams in the single-elimination field, and will face Wichita State (21-8) at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30, inside Charles Koch Arena.

The winner of the matchup between the Red Wolves and the Shockers will advance to play the winner of Tulsa (17-14) and Kansas City (22-8) at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 1 at Wichita State. Quarterfinal, semifinal and championship match sites will be announced as the tournament progresses.

Arkansas State's bid to the tournament will mark the program's first postseason appearance since the 2018 season and sixth all-time showing in the NIVC. A-State owns a 9-9 record all-time in the event.
