JONESBORO, Ark. (10/15/2024) – The Arkansas State women's golf team finished tied for seventh among 17 teams at the annual Lady Red Wolves Classic at Sage Meadows Country Club.

A-State carded an 11-over par 299 total 33-over par 897 for the event to tie Eastern Kentucky for seventh. ULM won the event at 5-over par 869 and was followed by Little Rock (+18), Central Arkansas (+23), Troy (+24), Samford (+31) and Morehead State (+32).

Sofia Bastidas had the low round of the day for A-State carding a 5-under par 67 to climb 45 spots in the individual standings to a tie for 16th. The 5-under 67 is the second-lowest 18-hole total by an A-State player in the home event.

Ashley Kim was the top finisher for A-State placing tied for 12th at 5-over par 221. Olivia Coit tied for 18th at 7-over par 223 while Madison Tenore tied for 27th at 9-over par 225. Anne-Lea Lavoie (+13) tied for 45th, Morgan Beaulieu (+17) tied for 64th, Caroline Hughes (+18) and Charlotte Menager (+18) tied for 67th and Shannon Berry (+29) finished 94th.

A-State closes out the fall portion of its schedule Oct. 20-22 at the Diamante Intercollegiate hosted by Little Rock at Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs Village, Ark.
