HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. (10/20/2024) – Morgan Beaulieu (-2) and Ashley Kim (-1) carded rounds under par to highlight the opening round of the Diamante Intercollegiate hosted by Little Rock at Diamante Country Club.

Playing as an individual, Beaulieu turned in her fifth par or better round of the season at 2-under par 70 to rank sixth on the individual leaderboard, three shots back of the lead. Kim registers her team-best eighth par or better round of the season at 1-under par 71 to rank seventh. Kim moves up to fifth in single-season par or better rounds while her 15th career par or better round ranks sixth. Beaulieu has 19 career par or better rounds to rank third in program history.

Olivia Coit and Carolina Hughes are tied for 28th after going 2-over par 74 on the round. Madison Tenore and Sofia Bastidas were 4-over par 76 to rank 55th while Anne-Lea Lavoie is 74th at 6-over par 78.

A-State totaled 9-over par 297 on the day to tie Houston Christian for eighth among 18 teams in the field. Host Little Rock leads at 5-under par 283 followed by Boston College (-4), Florida Gulf Coast (-1), Central Arkansas (+1), Oral Roberts (+1), Ball State (+7) and Bradley (+8)
