HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. (10/21/2024) – Highlighted by an Ashley Kim albatross, four Arkansas State women's golfers were par or better Monday in the second round of the Diamante Intercollegiate.

Sinking her second shot on the par-5, 531-yard 11th hole, Kim earned the first known albatross in program history and one of very few in NCAA women's golf. Kim finished the round at 3-under par 69 for her seventh round under par this season and ninth par or better. She enters the final round at 4-under par 140, five strokes back of individual leader Cynthia Zhang of Boston College.

Morgan Beaulieu carded a second consecutive par or better round going even-par 72 to rank ninth thus far at 2-under par 142. Olivia Coit was even as well, and she ranks tied for 30th at 2-over par 146 after 36 holes. Madison Tenore was the fourth player par or better turning in a 1-under par 71 to move up to a tie for 37th at 3-over par 147. Caroline Hughes (74-73) joins Tenore in a tie for 37th while Sofia Bastidas (76-76) is 70th and Anne-Lea Lavoie (78-76) is 75th.

As a team, A-State turned in an even-par 288 and has a 36-hole total of 9-over par 585 to stand eighth of 18 teams. Florida Gulf Coast was 9-under par 279 on the second round and leads overall at 10-under par 566. Boston College (-7), Oral Roberts (-5), Little Rock (-3), Central Arkansas (+1), Missouri State (+5) and California Baptist (+6) round out the seven teams ahead of the Red Wolves.
