JONESBORO, Ark. (6/20/24) – Arkansas State women's soccer head coach
Brian Dooley announced on Friday the addition of assistant coach Calum Langdale to the 2024 staff.
Langdale joins the program after spending one year with the Nashville Rhythm FC, assisting the club to an undefeated season and the 2023 Southeastern Conference Championship.
In addition, he served as an assistant coach at Trevecca Nazarene Universiy and was a goalkeeper coach for NUSA's MLS Next programs. Langdale played a key role in the Trojans' defense, conceding less than 10 goals from open play during the 2023 season.
"I am incredibly thrilled to have the opportunity to join the coaching staff here at Arkansas State," Coach Langdale said. "I am extremely grateful to Brian and Scott (Sinclair) for giving me the privilege to join this first class program and serve our student-athletes!"
Prior to his time in Nashville, he served as the director of goalkeeping for the Clarksville Soccer Club and was a volunteer assistant at Columbia State Community College in 2022-23.
"Red Wolves Soccer welcomes Calum and his wife, Grace, to our family, Coach Dooley said. "He will add a new perspective to our program. He's a great addition to our staff."
