PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (9/10/24) – The Arkansas State women's golf team finished sixth among 18 teams in the season opening Golfweek Fall Challenge at Caledonia Golf and Fish Club.

The Red Wolves totaled 19-over par 871, the seventh-best 54-hole total in program history. A-State turned in a final round 12-over par 296. Ashley Kim posted her second consecutive round under par at 1-under par 70 to total even-par 213, tied for the 11th-best 54-hole total by an individual in program history. Kim finished in a tie for 13th individually.

Morgan Beaulieu (70-71-78) and Charlotte Menager (73-74-72) finished tied for 26th at 6-over par 219. Playing as an individual, Menager was 1-over par 72 in the final round for her best round of the tournament. Anne-Lea Lavoie (+9) finished tied for 40th and Olivia Coit (+16) tied for 60th. After the first-round disqualification, Madison Tenore (67-73) totaled 2-under par 140 over the last two rounds.

Campbell won the event at 2-under par 850 while UNC Wilmington (+3), UNC Greensboro (+8), High Point (+9) and Charlotte (+9) rounded out the top five. Finishing sixth, A-State was seven shots clear of Boise State (+26) while Morehead State (+28), New Mexcio State (+32) and UAB (+33) comprised the top 10.

A-State returns to action next week, Sept. 16-17, at the UTA Maverick Classic played at Tierra Verde Golf Club in Arlington, Texas.
