JONESBORO, Ark. (9/13/24) – Arkansas State fans can now enjoy a men's basketball-football doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 26, as the A-State men's hoops team will face Trevecca Nazarene in an exhibition bout at 11 a.m. inside First National Bank Arena ahead of the football team's 6 p.m. home game against Troy.
Tickets are $10 for general admission, and the game will also be included in season ticket packages. Additionally, a ticket to the football game can be used to gain admission to the basketball exhibition, and vice versa.  If redeeming the football ticket for the basketball exhibition, visit the A-State Ticket Office at First National Bank Arena (lower red entrance) on game day. Likewise, the basketball ticket can be shown at the A-State Ticket Office located at Centennial Bank Stadium (near gate W2) on game day to gain entry into the football contest. Parking for the men's basketball game will be available for $10 in the lots immediately surrounding First National Bank Arena.
After watching the Red Wolves on the hardwood, fans are encouraged to head to Dustin White Realty Tailgate City to pick up a 2024-25 commemorative men's basketball schedule poster and participate in an autograph session with the team from 3-5 p.m.  The football team will travel through the heart of Tailgate City as part of its traditional Red Wolf Walk at 3:45 p.m.
A-State, under the direction of second-year head coach Bryan Hodgson, is coming off one of the best seasons in program history.  The Red Wolves won 12 of their final 16 games and reached the postseason for the first time since 1999, finishing in the semifinals of the Ro College Basketball Invitational.  Arkansas State finished fourth in the Sun Belt Conference and reached the championship game of the league tournament.  The Scarlet and Black defeated 20 Division-I foes for the first time since 1990-91 – just the fourth time ever in school history.
