TULSA, Okla. (10/2/25) - Coming off 15 wins at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic, the Arkansas State women's tennis squad returns to the courts to compete at the Tulsa Invite this weekend.
"In just two tournaments the identity of this team is shaping nicely," said A-State head coach Sujay Lama. "Preparation, competitiveness and grit seems to be the norm. Data suggests that every individual is capable of playing at a very high level. My challenge to our team this weekend is to be more consistent in maintaining that high level. Also, we want to execute at higher level in doubles and cut out some of the unforced errors due to focus and foot work."
A-State joins host Tulsa, Gonzaga and Oral Roberts as teams set to compete in the three-day hidden dual event. The Red Wolves are scheduled to face Gonzaga on Friday, Oral Roberts on Saturday and Tulsa on Sunday.
Through two events this fall, A-State has totaled 11 doubles wins and 22 singles victories.
