TULSA, Okla. (10/4/25) – Continuing play at the Tulsa Invite, the Arkansas State women's tennis team was a perfect 6-0 against Oral Roberts Saturday.

"Today we were able to fight through some tough moments and had some great comebacks," said Carla Muro Castellvi. "For me, it was so important to win this match after some tough losses. This win gives me confidence for tomorrow's match."

A-State took both doubles matches in convincing fashion. Hanmare McAslin and Anna Grigoreva earned their second win of the weekend with a 6-1 victory while Lilly Cvanciger and Carla Muro Castellvi won 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.

Grigoreva played at No. 1 singles and picked up a 7-5, 6-4 win against Miranda Noor. Cvanciger outlasted Ava Goodeall on court two, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 while McAslin rallied past Cecilia Franzin 1-6, 6-0, 6-1 at court three. Muro Castellvi finished off the perfect day with a 6-3, 6-1 win on court four against Abby Wise.

A-State closes out the Tulsa Invite against Tulsa Sunday.
