A-State Volleyball Lands Five All-Sun Belt Conference Selections

JONESBORO, Ark. (11/19/25) – The Sun Belt Conference announced their 2025 volleyball postseason honors and awards on Wednesday, with five Arkansas State athletes receiving all-conference accolades.
 
Daedrianna Cail, Mia Maloney, Kaitlin Whitlock, Addison Collum, and Erin Madigan were selected to one of three all-conference squads for the 2025 season. Five all-conference selections are the most for the program since the 2016 campaign.
 
Cail received All-Sun Belt First Team laurels for the second consecutive season after posting 155 total blocks to rank sixth nationally. The middle blocker averaged 1.52 blocks per set to rank seventh at the Division I level, and averaged 2.51 kills per set on the offensive side.
 
She posted a .368 hitting percentage in the regular season, which places inside the top 70 nationally and second in the conference. Cail recorded 103 blocks and 144 kills in conference play, averaging 1.75 blocks per set and 2.44 kills per set.
 
Maloney received All-Sun Belt Second Team selections after recording 10-plus digs in 19 matches this season. The libero averaged 3.47 digs per set and finished second on the team with 557 receptions on a .952 percentage.
 
The Louisville native led the team with 46 service aces, which leads the conference and ranks 21st nationally. In conference play, Maloney recorded 220 digs and averaged 3.73 per set alongside 336 receptions on a .964 clip.
 
Whitlock joins her on the second team after posting a team-high 272 kills and averaging 2.67 per set during the regular season. The outside hitter led the team with six double-doubles and surpassed double digits in kills over 11 matches.
 
The San Antonio native led the team with 290 digs and totaled 45 blocks alongside 33 service aces. In conference play, she averaged 2.36 kills per set and totaled 139 on the season while landing 15 service aces.
 
Collum was named to the All-Sun Belt Third Team after posting 147 kills on a .292 hitting percentage in conference play. The right-side hitter tallied 48 blocks and averaged 0.81 per set against Sun Belt competition.
 
For the season, she totaled 214 kills on a .279 clip and averaged 2.74 per set while posting 59 total blocks on the defensive side. The Buena Park, California, native tallied seven matches with double-digit digs, including three consecutive matches from Nov. 1 versus Louisiana to Nov. 8 at South Alabama.
 
Madigan joined her on the third team after recording a team-high 629 assists on a .381 set percentage, averaging 6.23 per set during the regular season. The setter moved into ninth place in the program record book for career assists, surpassing 2,500 during the campaign.
 
The Macomb, Michigan, native tallied 20-plus assists in 18 matches and established a season high of 42 versus Texas State on Oct. 17. She recorded 369 assists and averaged 6.36 per set in conference play, posting the numbers on a .382 clip.
