JONESBORO, Ark. (11/25/25) – Freshman defender Ellen Hampton joins the Northern Ireland U-19 National Team for the opening round of UEFA Women's U-19 Championship, with three games in pool play.
Northern Ireland is slotted in Group A6, with Italy, Switzerland, and Belarus. Their first match is set against Italy in Pontedera, Italy on November 26, at 8 p.m. CET (1 p.m. CST). NIR will then face Switzerland on November 30 at 4:30 p.m CET (9:30 a.m. CST) in Pontedera, and Belarus on December 2, at 8 p.m. CET (1 p.m. CST) in Florence, Italy. Finals will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina from June 27, 2026 through July 10, 2026 between the seven pool winners.
Hampton played in all 15 games for Arkansas State and made 14 starts, averaging 81 minutes per game, with two shots on goal, and one assist on the season, coming at Oklahoma State. Hampton started in all three shutouts the Red Wolves completed this season.
