PALM CITY, Fla. (2/10/25) – Carding the low round of the day at the UNC Greensboro Invitational, sophomore Ashley Kim helped the Arkansas State women's golf team move up to second among the 18-team field.

Kim carded a 4-under par 68 for the low round of the day, her fifth consecutive round under par dating back to the fall. Following her opening round 1-under par 71, Kim has totaled 5-under par 139, tied for the seventh-lowest 36-hole total in program history, to stand second individually. Kim is five strokes back of Valentine Delon of Virginia Tech on the individual leaderboard.

Madison Tenore climbed five spots individually with a 1-over par 73 and has totaled 3-over par 147 to stand 21st. Anne-Lea Lavoie improved five strokes from the opening round and climbed 19 spots to 38th at 7-over par 141 (77-74). Caroline Hughes has totaled 8-over par 152 (72-80) and Olivia Coit is tied for 59th with a total of 9-over par 153 (75-78). Shannon Berry is 96th at 14-over par 174 (88-86).

A-State moved up to second with its second round 5-over par 293 and has totaled 9-over par 585. Virginia Tech maintains the lead at 17-under par 559 following a second round 4-under par 284. The Red Wolves enter the final round with a three-stroke advantage on third place Jacksonville State (+12). East Tennessee State (+13), Little Rock (+14), UNC Greensboro (+15), Elon (+15), Morehead State (+16), Southern Illinois (+23) and Memphis (+24) round out the top 10.
