JONESBORO, Ark. (4/3/25) – After a stellar, record-breaking week last week, the Arkansas State track and field teams look to continue the momentum this weekend, traveling to Oxford, Miss., for the Joe Walker Invite.
Competition begins Friday morning with the heptathlon at 10:15 a.m. and the women's hammer throw begins open field events at noon. Friday's first track event is slated to begin at 6 p.m. Both days of competition will be broadcast live on SEC Network+.

WOMEN
Pole Vault: Carly Pujol – 4.30m/14-1.25 (#9 West, #12 NCAA)
2. GOING NATIONAL: Arkansas State ranks near the top 30 nationally in the first edition of the USTFCCCA TFRI rankings, coming in at 31st in the men's rankings. The Red Wolves also boast a pair of top-10 event groups in the first #EventSquad rankings of the outdoor season. A-State's 110-meter hurdles quartet of Colby Eddowes, Will Glass, Josh Jones and Kenyon Parker rank third nationally, while it ranks seventh in the men's pole vault behind the efforts of national leader Bradley Jelmert, Jacob Dorrell, Gavin Schaer and John Carswell.
3. WEEKLY HONORS: A-State swept this week's Sun Belt Conference Men's Outdoor weekly honors, with Jacob Pyeatt being named the Track Athlete of the Week and Bradley Jelmert earning Field Athlete of the Week acclaim.
