JONESBORO, Ark. (7/21/25) – The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced the recipients of the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award on Monday, featuring 1,450 collegiate and high school programs including Arkansas State.
 
Teams that maintained a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale qualified for the honor.
 
The Red Wolves return to action with the Scarlet and Black scrimmage set for Saturday, Aug. 16, at 2:00 p.m. inside First National Bank Arena. A-State hosts North Alabama for an exhibition match on Aug. 23 at 2:00 p.m. before opening the regular season against Ole Miss on Friday, Aug. 29, at 2:00 p.m. in Atlanta, Ga.
