JONESBORO, Ark. (9/19/25) – Arkansas State cross country returns to action at the Rhodes College Cross Country Invitational, scheduled for Sept. 20 at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, Tenn.
The men's 8K race begins at 8 a.m. and the women's 5K run is slated to start at 8:50 a.m.
THREE THINGS TO NOTE:
- ON A STREAK: A-State returns to Memphis for their second meet of the 2025 campaign, participating in the Rhodes College Cross Country Invitational for the fifth consecutive season. The Red Wolves swept the team titles over the last three years, and the women's team has won the team title each season dating back to 2021.
- HIT THE GROUND RUNNING: A-State had five freshman and three transfers make debuts on Aug. 30. Parker Noffz, Noah Herrera, Joe Edwards, and Chance Tindall made their collegiate debuts on the men's side while Ava Lang was the lone freshman to compete for the women. Craig Becker, Carlo Martinez-Jaramillo, and Owen Morgan also made their Red Wolves debuts. In total, the men's team had seven newcomers compete while the women had one.
- LAST TIME OUT: The A-State men's and women's squads recorded fourth place finishes at the City Auto Twilight Memphis Classic, with the former recording 106 points and the latter tallying 117. Delaney Mulick led the women with a 14th-place finish after clocking in a personal best of 17:58.8 in the 5K. Parker Noffz led the men in his Red Wolves debut, posting a time of 19:58.4 to finish 16th in the 4-mile.
