JONESBORO, Ark. (9/29/25) – Arkansas State baseball head coach Mike Silva announced the addition of six signees on Monday to complete the 2026 roster.
Junior right-hander Drew Erdmann hails from Hudson, Ohio, and spent the 2025 season as an Ohio State Buckeye. He made 15 appearances on the mound with nine starts, tossing 37.2 innings while tallying 31 strikeouts across the season.
Erdmann played in 11 games at Cincinnati during the 2023 campaign, striking out 16 batters over 14.0 innings pitched. In high school at Walsh Jesuit, he threw a perfect game in the playoffs his senior year and was a first team all-conference selection.
Sophomore Tate Collins is a right-handed pitcher joining the Red Wolves from Central Arkansas. The 4A First-Team All-State selection out of Little Rock Christian Academy pitched 8.1 innings over six relief appearances for the Bears, posting six strikeouts while only allowing six hits.
Graduate transfer Dylan Farley transfers from Delta State as a starting left-handed pitcher. The Dutch national made 12 starts on 13 appearances for the Statesmen, throwing in 67.0 innings and totaling 68 strikeouts on a 2.82 ERA for a 7-3 record.
Prior to Delta State, Farley spent the 2024 season at Nicholls, where he made 16 appearances with eight starts to finish 3-2. In 37.1 innings of work, Farley struck out 31 batters on 38 hits for a 6.69 ERA.
Farley found his way to Nicholls after stints at Odessa College and Mineral Area College while representing The Netherlands in the 2024 U-23 Baseball World Cup. Farley also has played summer ball in The Netherlands for the Amsterdam Pirates from 2023-25 and Hoofddorp Pioniers from 2021-22.
Joining the Red Wolves by way of Cisco College is outfielder Jackson Illingworth. Illingworth played in 39 games as a freshman, batting .347 with 24 RBIs alongside 11 extra base hits. As a sophomore, he played in 50 games with 51 hits to again average .347, but improved his extra base hit total to 15.
Taylor Seay arrives in Jonesboro following two seasons at Texas State, making 27 appearances, over 22.1 innings pitched. He struck out 19 batters and held a 7.66 ERA across both seasons in San Marcos. The right-hander had previously played at Angelina College.
Adam Wade returns to NCAA Division I baseball after two seasons with Alvin College. The lefty made 28 appearances on the mound for the Dolphins, posting 35.1 innings in his final season.
