JONESBORO, Ark. (1/21/26) – The Arkansas State Athletics Department announced Wednesday that, due to forecasted inclement weather in the Northeast Arkansas area this weekend, the start time for its women's basketball home game this Saturday, Jan. 24, against James Madison has been moved to 11:00 a.m.
The game, originally scheduled to tip at 2:00 p.m., will now feature free admission. Anyone who has already purchased a single-game ticket for Saturday's contest at First National Bank Arena (FNBA), can e-mail the Arkansas State Ticket Office using
tickets@astate.edu to receive a complimentary ticket to another women's basketball game this season of their choice.
Arkansas State University will begin clearing the First National Bank Arena parking lots of snow and/or wintry mix Saturday morning. Doors, which include the Upper and Lower Red, Yellow and Lower Green entrances, will all open at 10:00 a.m. Follow the A-State Athletics official social media accounts for updates.
The FNBA concessions stands will be open and feature $2 coffee and $2 hot chocolate specials while supplies last. The coffee and hot chocolate specials will only be available at the concession stand located near the Yellow entrance.
The Red Wolves' game against James Madison is a rematch of last season's Sun Belt Conference Tournament championship game. Holding a 17-4 overall record and 8-1 league mark, A-State sits atop the conference standings and has won 15 of its last 16 games.
