BOGOTA, Colombia (10/2/26) – Former Arkansas State women's bowler
Maggie Thoma won all-event gold representing Team USA at the 2026 PANAM Bowling VI Pan American Women's Adult Championship this week.
Thoma, a 2026 Arkansas State graduate, is the second consecutive bowler from A-State to win all-event gold at the Pan American Games. Jordan Richard took gold in the last championship back in 2022.
Making her debut representing her country on the international stage, Thoma totaled 5,371 pins over the four events for an average of 223.79. Katelyn Abigania totaled 5,152 (214.67) to finish second. She also earned gold in the trios event with a team-leading individual mark of 1,390 (231.67). She earned silver in singles with a total of 1,300 pins and bronze in doubles play with a total of 1,402 pins.
