JONESBORO, Ark. (2/20/26) – The Arkansas State women's tennis team heads to Florida for a pair of matches this weekend against Mercer and Florida Gulf Coast.
A-State (3-3) has a three-match winning streak entering Saturday's matchup against Mercer (6-2). First serve is scheduled for 9:00 AM (CT) Saturday and the Red Wolves conclude the two-match weekend against Florida Gulf Coast (6-2) on Sunday with first serve at 8:30 AM (CT).
"We are excited to be playing outdoors finally," A-State head coach
Sujay Lama said. We are looking forward to competing against two good teams that are well coached. I like the way we've played doubles lately and that is once again a huge priority for us this weekend."
The Red Wolves are coming off a 7-0 sweep of Tennessee State and 4-0 victory over Lamar last weekend. A-State is 3-0 this season when winning the doubles point with the pair of
Lilly Cvanciger and
Carla Muro Castellvi sporting an overall record of 14-7 this season.
Hanmare McAslin paces the squad with 13 singles wins while Cvanciger has 12,
Anna Grigoreva has 11 and
Sarah Millard has 10.
