JONESBORO, Ark. (3/13/26) – The Arkansas State football team has announced its complete 2026 schedule, which features six games at Centennial Bank Stadium.
The Red Wolves will begin their sixth season under head coach
Butch Jones with four non-conference games against Memphis, West Georgia, TCU and Kennesaw State ahead of Sun Belt Conference (SBC) play. A-State plays its league opener on the road for the second consecutive season and hosts a midweek home game for the second consecutive year.
A-State's season opener at Memphis marks the return of the most-played series in program history. The two teams square off in Memphis on Saturday, Sept. 5, for the 61st all-time meeting. The home opener is Saturday, Sept. 12, against West Georgia before a trip to TCU on Saturday, Sept. 19. The Red Wolves close non-conference play on Saturday, Sept. 26, at home hosting Conference USA champion Kennesaw State.
The Red Wolves first three Sun Belt Conference contests are divisional opponents, beginning with the league opener at Louisiana on Saturday, Oct. 3. It marks the first time since 2010 that A-State meets Louisiana in the conference opener. A-State hosts South Alabama on Thursday, Oct. 8, before visiting Southern Miss on Saturday, Oct. 17.
A-State hosts Georgia State for homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 24, before ULM visits on Saturday, Nov. 7. The Red Wolves then hit the road to face Coastal Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 14 and conclude the road schedule at Louisiana Tech. The contest at Louisiana Tech will be finalized for Thursday, Nov. 19, Friday, Nov. 20, or Saturday, Nov. 21 at a later date. The Red Wolves close out the regular season at home against Troy on Saturday, Nov. 28.
The 2026 Sun Belt Conference Championship is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4. Game times, special events and promotions surrounding the Red Wolves' six home games will be announced at a later date.

The Red Wolves are one of just 15 teams in the country to claim a bowl-game victory each of the last two years. A-State recently announced a recruiting class that includes 58 players, 57 of which led their teams to the state playoffs while in high school.
A-State begins spring camp March 16 and will hold its Pack Day Spring Game on Saturday, April 25. The Red Wolves return 10 starters, seven on offense and three on defense, and a total of 41 letterwinners. Forty-six members of the 2026 recruiting class are available for spring camp.
