JONESBORO, Ark. (3/15/26) – The Arkansas State women's basketball team has been selected to the 2026 WNIT as an at-large selection. The full bracket is set to be released Monday, March 16.
The Red Wolves will play in the WNIT for the first time since the 2015-16 season after making their first ever NCAA Tournament last season, marking the program's first time to make back-to-back postseason appearances since its two WNIT appearances in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
A-State enters the tournament 24-9 with a 14-4 conference record and a Sun Belt Championship Quarterfinals appearance. The Red Wolves enter the postseason with their most wins since the 2015-16 season and have already set program records for most three made and steals.
