JONESBORO, Ark. (3/16/26) – Arkansas State has been ranked for the first time ever in Baseball America's Top 25, and has received votes in other national polls.
A-State comes off a 3-1 week, including a midweek win at Little Rock and a series win over No. 7 Southern Miss to open conference play.
Baseball America's Week 6 Top 25 poll ranks A-State No. 22. The Red Wolves are one of two Sun Belt teams in the poll. This marks Arkansas State's first ever appearance in Baseball America's rankings.
A-State was also acknowledged in Perfect Game's "also considered" section, and was listed in the "receiving votes" category in USAToday's Coaches Poll and NCBWA's poll.
Arkansas State Baseball was last ranked in 2019 in Collegiate Baseball's Top-30 at number 29, with its highest ranking in any major poll at No. 24 in Collegiate Baseball's final ranking of 1970.
The Red Wolves are set to travel to Atlanta, Ga. to face Georgia State in the second week of conference play, with game one scheduled for March 20 and first pitch for 4 p.m. CST.
