STATESBORO, Ga. (3/19/26) - The Arkansas State women's tennis continues its 10-match road swing with matches at Georgia Southern and Coastal Carolina this weekend.
A-State (7-6) meets Sun Belt Conference foes for the first time this season with Friday's 1:30 p.m. match at Georgia Southern (6-7). The Red Wolves close out the weekend trip Sunday with a 9:00 a.m. (CT) contest at Coastal Carolina (9-2).
The Red Wolves are coming off a 4-0 setback against No. 28 Wichita State last week in Indian Wells, Calif. Despite the loss, A-State has won seven of its last 10 matches with four of those seven wins coming as the road team and another in a neutral site setting.
Meghna Arun Kumar leads the team with a 7-3 singles record in the dual season.
Anna Grigoreva sports a 6-4 record while
Helena Bueno is 5-2.
Carla Muro Castellvi (5-4) and
Lilly Cvanciger (5-6) have five wins each while
Hanmare McAslin (3-5) and
Sarah Millard (3-2) have three wins. The Red Wolves have deployed eight different doubles combinations in duals this season, most frequently seeing Cvanciger and Muro Castellvi at No. 1 court (4-5), Bueno and Grigoreva (2-6) at No. 2 court and Millard and McAslin (4-4) at No. 3 court.
