The fourth-seeded Red Wolves end their season at 13-9 overall, the second consecutive season with 13 wins.
A-State dropped a competitive doubles point to face an early 1-0 deficit.
Hanmare McAslin and
Helena Bueno fell 6-1 on court three while
Lilly Cvanciger and
Carla Muro Castellvi suffered a 6-3 setback on court one as Old Dominion clinched the point.
Sarah Millard and
Anna Grigoreva led 4-3 on court two when the doubles point was claimed.
ODU (12-5) grabbed a 2-0 advantage with Ulyana Romanova downing McAslin 6-2, 6-1 on court three. The Monarchs advantage grew to 3-0 with Lidiia Rasskouskaia downing
Meghna Arun Kumar 6-1, 7-5 on court five, but Cvanciger got the Red Wolves on the board with a 6-3, 6-4 win on court two over Victoria Matasova. ODU clinched the match with Marina Markina outlasting Millard 7-5, 6-4 on court six. Grigoreva trailed 4-6, 4-5 on court one while Muro Castellvi trailed 6-3, 2-6, 0-1 on court three when the match was finished.
