Finja Dziobek earned her second career event win as the Red Wolves concluded action at the Bobcat and Triton Invitationals on Saturday.
BOBCAT INVITATIONAL
Alexis Waller was the lone Red Wolf to compete in San Marcos and finished sixth out of 24 contestants in the women's triple jump. The Converse, Texas, native reached a distance of 12.09m (39-8.00), tying for the eighth-best mark in the Sun Belt.
TRITON INVITATIONAL
Dziobek became the sixth Red Wolf to record multiple first-place finishes in the 2026 indoor and outdoor season after winning the women's discus throw with a personal-best distance of 48.84m (160-3.00). She moved to ninth place in the A-State record book and places fifth in the conference for the event.
Chris Boyd also secured a spot in the record book by recording a personal-best distance of 58.41m (191-7.00) in the men's hammer throw. The junior stands at ninth place in program history for the event.
Selase Sampram and
Menachem Chen recorded top-five finishes in the shot put. The former threw for a distance of 15.94m (52-3.75) and placed fourth in the women's elite event while the latter finished at fifth on the men's side after registering a 17.65m (57-11.00) mark.
