JONESBORO, Ark. (4/9/26) – Arkansas State women's tennis is set to take the home court for the final this season hosting No. 74 South Alabama Friday and closing out the regular season on Sunday hosting Texas State as part of Family Fun Fest and Senior Day.
Match time is set for noon for both matches and admission is free at the A-State Tennis Courts. Between doubles and singles on Sunday against Texas State, the program will honor senior
Sarah Millard in its Senior Day recognition.
"We're excited to finish out this season at home in front of our great crowds and build momentum ahead of the conference championships," A-State head coach
Sujay Lama said. "We look forward to having the community out and enjoying some great tennis on Friday and Sunday. Family Fun Fest is a signature event for the A-State community and it will be a special day to honor Sarah."
Family Fun Fest includes a kids play zone, while both matches will have free pizza and Lamanade. The first 50 fans will receive a FREE T-Shirt at both matches.
A-State (10-8) enters the final week of the regular season having already accomplished back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time since the 2010-11 seasons. The Red Wolves are 8-0 this season when winning the doubles point, most recently using a tiebreaker win on court three to defeat UAB. Freshman
Meghna Arun Kumar has won six consecutive singles matches and carries a 12-3 record in duals this season.
