MEMPHIS, Tenn. (9/19/26) – Fifth year Anna Grigoreva defeated Alana Boyce in straight sets at the ITA All-American Championships while the Arkansas State women's tennis team tallied six wins against the Tigers at the Memphis Invite.

The first A-State player to compete in the ITA All-American Championships, Grigoreva made quite the first impression defeating Alana Boyce of North Carolina 6-1, 6-4. Grigoreva advances to the pre-qualifying round of 128 against Tegan Bush of LSU on Sunday at 8 a.m. in Cary, N.C.

A-State took two of three doubles contests against Memphis and added four singles victories to the ledger at the Memphis Invite. The pair of Lilly Cvanciger and Sara Kastakova earned a 7-5 win on court one while Carla Muro Castellvi and Lara Margocova won 6-2 on court two. Meghna Arun Kumar and Hanmare McAslin came up short on court three, 4-6.

Cvanciger picked up a 6-4, 6-1 triumph on court one, Kastaokova won 6-2, 7-5 on court three, Arun Kumar was victorious 6-4, 6-4 on court four, Margocova won 6-3, 6-1 on court five and McAslin rallied back for a 2-6, 7-5, 10-8 win on court six. The Red Wolves enter the final day of the Memphis Invite with 12 wins, five doubles and seven singles victories. A-State meets Murray State Sunday at 9 a.m. to close out the weekend.
